A night 2 Remember..

BSSMelb's Royal Melbourne Show event was successful! We were worried not many would show up because people have began dropping out like flies... haha.. Surprisingly, there was a total of 22 people all together! Friends brought along their other friends, and new friends are made!

Mr. DG & Nudel(?) in bumper car

A big group of us broke our fast at the GoldAn Fork, ordering from briyani to various murtabak. We even got free slices of oranges by the owner, him knowing that we were fasting! How lovely was that?! At around 7:15pm we met up with other at the Flinder Street Station, and from there we took a train directly to the Showground.

Not long after we enter the playground, we hit the first exciting game we came across, the Break Dance! I forgot how nuts that ride was! Watching my fellow friends' face as they got twirled hard around was priceless!  Watching friends stuffing their face with cotton candy, popcorns, and corn cobs... It was a happy time, and I was glad everyone was enjoying it.

Those who came, thank you a million times! Those who missed it, you must go! The Royal Melbourne Show will still be in town till the 28th September. An event you don't want to miss!

Note: Fellow friends in Melbourne, raya is coming soon... get your tickets to BSSMelb's Raya Celebration!

.Royal Melbourne Show.

Royal Melbourne Show, bits of pieces of the previous trip to the Royal Melbourne Show (2007). What is the Royal Melbourne Show? Happens every year in September since 1848, featuring display of rural industry, and not forgetting the amusement rides and sideshow alley. One of their prominent feature is the permanent wooden Mad Mouse Rollercoaster and the Chairlift.

Me & Ms Giggles
Guess what?!? It's in town! A bunch of us are going there this Saturday! It's an event you should never miss if you get the opportunity. It's bigger than the Mumba/water festival. It's the biggest event in Melbourne, Victoria!

One of the things you get to see there...

Excited on the way to the Showground

Make Believe. Not War.

Son of Rambow - Located in England in the 80's, a home made movie made by two young boys with a big camera. It's a comedy about friendship, faith and tough business of growing up.

Through the eyes of fatherless Will of the Plymouth Brethren Family who lived in a strict moral code that was never allowed to 'mix' with others was until he met Carter.

Things started to changed after Carter showed him a pirate copy of Rambo, and decided to make a screen test with Carter. From there, their friendship flourished into something they did not count to happen.

We broke our fast at Esteler, Lygon before we went to catch the show... Mr Sillhoutte came late coz he had to finish his class at 6... so he met up with us at the cinema, bought himself a bruchetta on the way.

Ms Shooter, missing the shooting action... Mr Nikon was nice enough to lend her the camera to take photos of the night.

Thanks Mr Nikon for the invite! Sure did love the film! It was hilarious!

Sungkai @ Vv

Wednesday, broke our fast at Ms V's house in Carnegie. It was a lovely dinner and a nice get together with some friends...

It was also a nice weather, but it got colder in the evening. Ms V made Chicken curry, sambal sotong, veggie and sambal mangga..

Sweets: Dates and Strawberries & Kuih Putri Mandi...

Thanks V, the food was spicy and delicious!

Call again ah! and we love your haircut too! It's beautiful!

Last night to break 'our' fast, we had a steamboat at my house. I called over a couple of friends.

Too bad I didn't take many photos... but it was a good meal and enjoyed each other's company and catching up with each other's busy university life... haha... we also enjoyed a good episode of Frannie the nanny starring lamb chops! I never saw the episode but it was funny! classic!
