My lecturer POD showed this clip during class, and i find it awesome on how these people do it. It's pretty much self-explanatory. A group of volunteers just froze up from what they were doing for couple of minutes... It's awesome! check it out, they are also made other scenes across the globe, including Australia!

Who has the Biggest Brain?

I think people who owns Facebook would know what I'm talking about.... "Who has the BIGGEST Brain?" ... that game is addictive. I blame 'my addiction' on Han! It's all your fault that I'm hooked on it, but at least i beat ya! after 7 tries, i got the brain of a Genius! Haha... I introduced it to my sis and my housemate... and man! did they get hooked or what?!? they have to play it before they sleep... it's like a mini-ritual before bedtime which often leads to late sleeps, and on the next day complaining how sleepy they get... Haha! At least, I'm not THAT hooked... i play it once in a while... hehe :p wonder if there are any other interesting game they have in FB... but the laziness in me says "don't bother looking for them, better if you do your assignments!", which reminds me that one of them is due this weekend! haha... anyways, bedtime for me... goodnight peeps!

Our Saturday

Spent our Saturday on Sydney road eating Lebanese Pizza and desserts.. It tasted SOOO good! I need to get those desserts! Talk about dieting!!.. We also went walking in and out of stores... We went meat shopping for Lamb Chops for dinner.. Thanks MrCanon!! 5Kilo lagi!!

To Cure Boredom [one way]...

This is something i really want to share... it was hillarious when we got it done. We went to JBHifi to check out some stuff, and came across the Mac section... I'm not a fan of Mac but it's fun to just play around with it once in a while.... 

Anyways, back to my story... there we were at the Mac section, Gigalo tried to start up the computer and.... OMG.... it took forever to get it started, so we moved over and played on another Mac book... MsShooter decided to play around with iPhoto and it's effects like dent, fish eye, swirl... etc, then we came up with this picture... haha... doing it made us laugh causing people to stare at us and wondering what the heck we were doing...!! but it was fun!!! I took couple of photos, only one was clear coz i bluetooth it directly to my cellphone... the others are just screenshot of the Mac monitor... 

I look like one of those in the big-eye cat calender.. haha

SkunkGirl literally has a sqaure head!!! MsShooter got flat nose!! Gigalo with big grin..

Wow! i'm impressed that my housemates and Vivi manage to pull off a surprise dinner for me tonight! So part of the plan was not celebrating my bday at all yesterday [actual day 24th].. that was cruel but it works! Or probably because I didn't really care... I really appreciate the dinner guys [steam boat] and the creamy Mud/Mousse Cake... It was great!! Thanks a lot guy! Love ya!

Lamb Chops It is!

We've made a decision.... is it gonna be Steamboat? or is it gonna be BBQ Lamb chops? *drum rolls* It's going to be BBQ LAMB CHOPS tonight!!! Yum2, just looking at it when we went to buy some meat... can't help but crave for Lamb Chops! it's been a long time baby!! haha :p

Omg! it tasted so good!! Next time I'm gonna make plenty fir each person!! haha... You wanna have a taste of this?? It's SOOOO GOOOOD~! I did the Lamb Chops, sis did the veggie, daus and lai did the mash potatoes :p

SteamBoat 8/3/08

We had a lil steam boat feast in March, a small gathering since we all just arrived in Melbourne. It was a nice feast, everyone left with a big bulge in their stomach! Talking about steam boat, I'm craving for steamboat! Maybe might have it tonight! :p We'll see what my housemates think.... :)

Java & Creepy Old man

Can language be any worse? Have u tried Java? Well its not a foreign language at all, its just a bloody computer language that manage to pull hairs from the top of your head!! 

Yesterday, Han, me & Vivi wanted to get java done for our lab with was due last week :p haha... but we got an extension, so we attempt to finish it..... Since the labs in the university are locked and you need after hours access card to get in... which neither of us have, so we decide to do it 

at Vivi's house. So there we are (Han & I) waiting for the bus.... 

I think we waited 1 hour waiting for the bus to Vv's house, can't believe we actually MISS the actual bus HAN!! so we check what time the next one was coming... it's coming in.... 45-50MINS!! 

"forget that Han, we're taking the train!" 

So there we had to waited at the Caufield Station, 2 trains to the city passed... finally we our train arrived and we got to Glen Huntly... then we have to walk! giggling and talking as we walk till we reach vv's house.... and who did most of the work?? hhaha... thanks alot Han!!! :p

The funny part was when we were going home, Han and I were waiting at the train station. This old man around his 60s or 70s came up to us and started talking... 

"How are you girls?"

"You take care of yourself now yeah?"

"You take care of each other okay?"

"I love girls" - now wouldn't that creep you out when someone says that to you??

"They are nice friends"

 Then we politely nod and walk off to the other direction....

Han was creeped out, i could feel her nails digging into my skin on my arm... but luckily that was all, until we reached into the train filled with fans of the footy game that night, along with the smell of beer... it was packed till it got to Richmond station.... The odor of some people! Keep your arms down and armpits closed!!!! and don't step on people's foot!!

Tiresome... is that correct?

How I long for long breaks again... Last break, which was... umm... Easter? did nothing, just stayed home and relax, take walks by the Yarra River... spending a lazy easter instead of searching for special eggs :p

I was bored, so i decided to look at my collection of pictures so far... and damn! they were fun times. I found myself to myself and having my sister asking me "What's wrong with u?"

Ever had that moment? I bet everyone does, can't say they are crazy now can we? it's perfectly normal. Haha...

Today, had a stressfull day.. since Java is not my favourite subject... could hear Han grunting on my left in lab, and Vivi talking to her Java [pc screen]... I think i prefer to do Java1 now... not Java2... its soooo... argh... undescribable... wait! maybe you can say.... stressful? confusing? complex? we all just want to eat and sleep...  thank goodness, my day end with a feast in Nandos.

Thanks Sofian for dinner the delicious meal at Nandos! You ended my day with a good note, but u forgot to include desset [donuts]! And like usual, i don't count how many times... I'm waiting for my Lobster next :p

Back in Melbourne for 2008

Its been 3 months now since I arrived in Melbourne, decided to try this blogspot out and see how interesting this thing is. I have seen many bloggers setting their own blog, and it seems so fun! Covering events, speaking out their ideas and their opinions on things.

Well now I am in Melbourne, joined by my sister... family is getting bigger and bigger now... Maybe soon, my youngest brother might decide to join us in Melbourne. 

During the three months, my friends, my sis and I visit the Melbourne Zoo. I'll put that up sometime soon, along with other events that I have been going. :p

Anyways, nothing special going on now... just that we all swamp with assignments, and all are beating the deadline... Luckily, I'm down to one... and one more to go!!! Wooppeee!! Other than assignments, I miss home... I want to go visit home mid-year, but not a chance... Wish me luck on assignments!
